Barrys Story - Income Support

Barry was a single male living on £59.15 per week. He failed a medical and while appealing the decision his benefit was reduced to £44.00 per week. With the help of his local CAB office he appealed this decision. He also put in a claim for Disability Living Allowance which he now receives. This has increased his income to £167.00 per week.
