Dreams and Teams - Park High, Bebington & Pensby

Park High, Bebington and Pensby Sports Colleges have been developing young sports leaders as an integral part of their sports college programmes. As a result of links with schools in Madrid, a Spanish delegation visited the Wirral in March 2007. 10 sports leaders from each Sports College worked collaboratively and with the Spanish leaders to organise and deliver a Festival of Sport for over 100 primary aged children.

This attracted much attention and VIPs from the regional Spanish government, and their education director as well VIPs from the British Council also flew in to attend the festival and to witness this collaboration and development of sport leadership, as well as the cross cultural and language development opportunities of this project.
