Leasowe Fun Run 2010

The second annual Leasowe Fun Run was held in May 2010. Younger children up to the age of 11 took part in the 2k run, while those over 12 years took part in a 5k run to raise money for local charities.

Geoff Thompson MBE, one of the country's leading sports politicans, 5 times World Karate champion and founder of Youth Charter, very kindly started the fun runs.

 Children's Fun Run winners: 1st Charlie B, 2nd Luke Prior, 3rd Daniel Elison, 4th Charlie Robertson

5k Fun Run winners: 1st James Mc Donald, 2nd Francis Flavin, 3rd David McCullogh, 4th  Lee Edwards
