Re-opening of Mersey and Victoria Parks

On the 24th of June 2008, Mayor Adrian Jones re-opened Mersey and Victoria parks after a major re-development. Both parks have undergone huge improvements with new lights, bins, seats and picnic benches being put in the parks. The Mersey Park Amateur boxing club has also undergone a transformation. New play equipment has also be bought.
