Tall Ships Races 2008- Longer Version

A spectacular fleet of sail training vessels representing 22 countries, from Brazil and Mexico to Bulgaria and Oman, gathered in Liverpool on 18th July for the weekend. The four-day maritime extravaganza seen almost one million vistors to Liverpool and Wirral. The four-day maritime extravaganza concluded with the parade of sail down the River Mersey on 21 July, towards the coast of Northern Ireland for the race start which took place on 23 July.
