Working Wirral

On the 16th of May 2008 Working Wirral, a new initiative led by Wirral Borough Council was launched. A number of funding streams have been brought together to form Working Wirral. Working Wirral will resource activity that adds value and targets gaps in mainstream activity, in respect of worklessness, skills, enterprise and business growth. There will be £30 million available over the next three years to support these outcomes, £5 million of which is available in this first round.
